At the site of the popular Hotel Rehoboth in Rehoboth Beach De. Matthew Haley has opened the highly anticipated “Lupo di Mare” Cucina Italiano. Spearheaded by the creative force of chef/owner Haley, this will be the fifth restaurant from SoDel Concepts, the award-winning group who also created Bluecoast Seafood Grill in North Bethany Beach, Fish On in Lewes, Catch 54 in Fenwick Island and Northeast Seafood Kitchen in Ocean View. Lupo di Mare, Haley’s first Italian themed restaurant will continue the model of excellent food, service, and atmosphere set by its predecessors, offering fresh classic coastal Italian cuisine. The emphasis will remain on fresh, local, traditional selections in a fun, upbeat, high-energy setting. Diners can expect familiar faces and dishes with an updated décor of simple vibrancy. Once again, designer Bryony Zeigler has designed Haley’s restaurant. Now open, the new spot, joined with the newly built Hotel Rehoboth, will be open year round. Dinner will be served from 4:00 and a late night menu will be available. Lupo di Mare will also spotlight Sunday brunch.

He says of the new project, “we have researched our Italian theme for years now and were waiting for the right time and spot in Rehoboth Beach”. Haley has traveled extensively to produce this concept and has likened it towards a “Mario Batali style restaurant” “We hope to infuse bold true original flavors in what we do here at Lupo di Mare.”
