 ALAN LEVIN, SENIOR ADVISOR  

Alan was born and raised in Wilmington and is a graduate of Concord High School.  He received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and went on to graduate with a law degree from the Delaware Law School. 

Alan’s career began as Deputy Attorney General in the Delaware Department of Justice he then moved on to become  Executive Assistant and Counsel to U.S. Senator William V.  Roth Jr..

Alan left his career in law and politics to assist with the family business, Happy Harry’s Drugstores. Following his father’s untimely death he assumed the position of CEO of Happy Harrys. Under his leadership the business grew to become the tenth largest drugstore chain in the U.S. with 76 locations and 2,700 employees.  After the sale of the business in 2006, Alan was appointed as Cabinet Secretary of the Delaware Economic Development Office under Governor Jack Markell.

Alan has received numerous awards and accolades for his involvement in business development and his  dedication to many business and civic organizations.  

He currently splits time between his homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach.  Alan is the father of three boys, Andrew, Daniel and Jason, and one golden retriever, Kasha, grandfather to three granddaughters and one grandson, and husband to Ellen, his wife of 39 years.
