SoDel Concepts receives business awards from Coastal Style

For the sixth consecutive year, Coastal Style magazine named Scott Kammerer Best Businessman in Sussex County. Kammerer is president of SoDel Concepts, which was named Best Business in Sussex County.

“These awards are especially meaningful this year, which has been a challenging one for restaurants across the country,” said Kammerer, who is currently chairman of the board of the Delaware Restaurant Association. “Our team has pulled together to give beyond 100 percent to our business, our guests and our community. There’s no way that I could do all of this alone. All of us are determined to be the best that we can be at all times and in all circumstances.”

In addition to repeatedly winning the Coastal Style award, Kammerer has been a recipient of the Cornerstone Award from the Delaware Restaurant Association and the Superstars in Business Award from the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Most recently, Kammerer was named to the Nation's Restaurant News 2020 list of Most Influential Restaurant CEOs in the nation.

Based in Rehoboth Beach, SoDel Concepts owns 12 restaurants, many of which have private spaces for small and large events. The company has divisions for catering, hospitality management and hospitality consulting. All 12 restaurants are open for dine-in service or carryout.
