In 2024, Blush and Chris Sockriter became the faces of Coastal Restaurant Equipment, which repairs and maintains HVAC systems, hot food appliances, refrigeration, ice machines and the other critically needed appliances and systems that keep a restaurant operating.

Not only does the company make repairs, but it also offers design services. Moreover, the team can remove and replace equipment as needed.

Sockriter, who studied HVAC-R at Delaware Technical Community College, previously worked for Atlantic Refrigeration and Charles A. Klein & Sons. He then became director of asset management for SoDel Concepts, which has 12 restaurants.

The company’s year-round preventative maintenance contracts find potential problems before they occur.
