New location to benefit from the skills of seasoned hospitality veterans

SoDel Concepts recently broke ground on Ocean View Brewing Company, the hospitality company’s 14th restaurant and second brewpub.

Scott Kammerer, president of SoDel Concepts, announced the promotion of Amber Willis to general manager of Bluecoast Seafood Grill + Raw Bar on Route 1 in Rehoboth Beach. She was previously the assistant manager.

Temple was previously the general manager of Bluecoast Seafood Grill + Raw Bar in Rehoboth Beach, and he's also been the general manager of Matt's Fish Camp in Lewes.

For the fourth consecutive year, four SoDel Concepts restaurants received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. This year, a total of seven Delaware restaurants were honored.

Chefs put innovative spin on Delaware’s favorite fruit

The National Restaurant Association thinks that a third of us won’t survive. But I think we have a small and close-knit community of 3,000 independent restaurants in Delaware, and that could work in our favor. We have a good connection to our customer base, and we have received a lot of support from the community.

Now more than ever, we understand that it is really important to support the people in need in our communities.

SoDel Cares has been a long-standing partner to many organizations in Delaware that help children, at-risk youth and adults, and the elderly who live in our local communities. We are committed to doing whatever we can to continue that support during one of the most challenging times the restaurant industry has faced. While we are saddened that we are unable to hold an in-person event to raise money for our foundation this year, we are asking our customers to help us in something we can do.
